A few weeks ago my phone rang, my good friends over at fifteen52 had a car that they had just outfitted with a set of their new Cast Tarmac wheels. I had a brief exchange with Aaron the owner of the car, to set up the shoot, but never actually saw the car until the morning that I shot it. This is the first time I can recall that Ive gone to a shoot completely blind. Lucky for me Aaron did not disappoint, as his “RS4” has been meticulously refined top to bottom. The fifteen52 tarmacs suit this car well, as the flat faces of the wheels give homage to a motorsport wheel we might have expected to see on a WRC car in the late 80’s. I’m glad we were able to shoot in the canyons, as you can’t fully appreciate this car until you have seen it shaking down the canyons, its exhaust popping and crackling as if its mocking the lesser powered cars that share the same streets. Now if you are thinking to yourself, Dang I think id like to have an RS4 of a similar nature. You’re in luck, as this car is actually for sale. See below for the build sheet and additional images.
